- Preparations for Kilmurry NS New Year’s Day Run are ongoing.
- The Board expressed their thanks to the staff of the school and to the parents for their work and involvement in the recent open evening.

Key items at our last Board of Management Meeting:
- Pupils from 1st to 6th class took part in the Cross-Country running competition in Ennis on Wednesday 24th September.
- The Parent’s Association organised a gathering for the new infant parents.
- A New interactive panel has been installed in the 3rd and 4th class classroom.
- The school has received a number of Chromebooks as part of the JDO Initiative.
- The school has received a 3D printer as part of The Empowered Initiative, sponsored by Stryker.
- The Board expressed their gratitude to Sarah Justice for her involvement as chairperson of the Parents’ Association over the last number of years.
- The Board thanked Mary O’ Reilly for power washing the school and grounds recently.
- The School Showcase and Open Evening will take place on 15th October at 6pm.
The Kilmurry NS 10K & 5K Fun Run/ Walk and Community Day will take place on 1st Jan 2026.

Key items at our last Board of Management Meeting:
- Confirmation took place on 3rd May.
- Communion took place 17th May.
- The Board thanked all those involved in the bag pack fundraiser.
- Bí Cineálta policy has been approved and will be available to view on the school website.
- Active Schools Week took place from 9th – 13th June.
- Junior infants to Second class visited the Ennis Fire Station and County Council Offices on 18th June, kindly organised by Alan O’ Callaghan.
- Congratulations to the boys hurling team who reached the Cumann na mBunscol final on 12th June.
- Well done to the 5th and 6th class pupils on the successful junior entrepreneur program this year.
- The Board thanked Brian Culbert for hurling training throughout the year.
- The Graduation Ceremony will take place on 19th June in Kilmurry NS.
- School calendar for 25/26 school year will be available to view on the school website.
- The Board acknowledged the work of the teachers, staff members, trainers and the Parents’ Association throughout this school year.
- The Board welcomed back Kevin Clohessy and thanked Louise Collins for all her work in his absence.
- The Board would like to wish 6th class the very best as they move onto secondary school.

• Staff training for the new Bí Cineálta procedures took place on Friday 4th April.
• Gaelbratach initiative is continuing in the school with much success.
• Seachtain na nGaeilge took place in school from 3rd – 14th March.
• Brendan O Regan quiz took place on 3rd April in Sixmilebridge school.
• Well done to the 5th and 6th Class boys who recently participated in a soccer blitz.
• French lessons have commenced for 3rd to 6th Class pupils.
• Sacrament of First Reconciliation took place on Thursday 13th March.
• Sacrament of Confirmation will take place on Saturday 3rd May at 3pm. • Sacrament of First Holy Communion will take place on Saturday 17th May at 11am.
